Job Description

The ACE Services Architect designs, delivers, and evolves our strategic services offerings. An Architect represents Dynatrace as expert in the practice of application performance management, providing customers with the means to extend the Dynatrace platform along their digital transformation journeys.

A natural problem solver who likes a variety of challenges while working in complex environments. With regular interactions across many stakeholders both internally as well as with customers and partners, a strong business acumen is required as well as a strong technical background. Combined with the ability to communicate clearly, credibly, and confidently, Architects will be the direct cause of outstanding experiences at our customers. You will be part of a global team of experts and architects, and you will be responsible for mentoring Dynatrace Services teammates on best practice delivery techniques.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as subject matter expert on techniques and best practices for driving value from Dynatrace, particularly through ecosystem integrations, combining product expertise with your skills and experience

  • Consult with customers to understand, and then meet their business and technical goals

  • Develop, deliver, and support services engagements focused on integrating Dynatrace into key systems such as ServiceNow and Splunk

  • Participate in project scoping and integration architectural deployment design

  • Partner with the sales team as needed in presales technical sessions

  • Recommend complementary Dynatrace products features to meet customer goals

  • Through project and thought leadership, actively work to improve our practices and procedures

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of consulting experience or equivalent industry experience

  • 3 years of demonstrated high customer satisfaction

  • Deep understanding of Dynatrace Architecture and configurations of SaaS, Managed and offline

  • 4 industry certifications in differing technologies (e.g. AWS, Google Cloud, Kubernetes, PMP)

  • Solid understanding of the application life cycle, and how Dynatrace adds value at each stage

  • Strong architectural understanding of application platforms and a self-directed willingness to learn about “new stack” enterprise cloud technologies

  • Able to formulate program strategies by evaluating options with a clear sense of priorities and risks. Manage information from multiple parallel work streams and integrate them to form an overall view

  • Demonstrated field experience with ServiceNow and Splunk systems, inclusive of effective integration approaches into these platforms

  • Demonstrated experience with data visualization via charts and dashboards, including appropriate use of granular and aggregate data

  • Ability to simplify complex technical issues and tailor for the relevant stakeholder groups

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail

  • Outstanding at presenting solutions to audiences ranging from the developers to C-level executives

  • A minimum of Dynatrace Professional Certification working towards Master certification

*Desired Experience: *

  • Previous consulting experience and / or Project Management experience is a plus

  • Cloud and Infrastructure technologies such as AWS, Azure, OpenStack, Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes etc.

  • Ability to write or contribute to technical white papers and blogs

  • 1 security and 1 automation certification

Additional Information

Travel and Training Requirements

  • Most Dynatrace Services client engagements completed by Architects are short to mid-term assignments but usually do not require travel. However, on occasion, site visits may be required

  • Must be willing to attend training at a Dynatrace or other location as well as potential travel for in-the-field observation activities

  • This role is for UK candidates as the client base is based solely in the United Kingdom to which client visits are required
